Drills: draw, share, discover

TEAMS & ATTENDANCE Reading time : 5 min Updated September 29, 2026
From Training → My drills & the community, every drill your club creates can get a drawn diagram (printed on the session sheet) and, if you wish, be proposed to the Coach Corner community library. The Community tab shows the drills shared by other clubs: vote "Useful" for the best ones, or add one to your own library in one click.

Draw a drill diagram

  1. In the menu, open Training, then the "My drills & the community" card.
  2. No drill yet? Click "Create a drill" at the top right, pick the sport, give it a name and a duration: the diagram editor opens right away. Otherwise the My drills list shows your club's drills.
  3. On the drill you want, click "Draw diagram" (or "Edit diagram" if it already has one).
  4. Pick a tool in the palette (attacker, defender, joker, cone, small goal, zone), then click the pitch to place the element. Everything snaps to a grid, so there is no need to aim at the pixel.
  5. For a movement, choose Run (dotted) or Shot / action (solid line) and click 2 to 3 points on the pitch.
  6. Select an element to move it, give it a shirt number, hand it the ball (only one per diagram) or delete it. Undo steps back at any time.
  7. Click "Save diagram": the diagram now appears on the printed session sheet, in the same style as the Paak catalogue drills.
A computer works best. Drawing works with a finger on a tablet, but a mouse is more comfortable. The playing area (wide pitch, court / hall, mat / ring) is changed at the top right of the editor.

Propose a drill to the library

A drill that works well at your club can help other clubs. On the drill's row, click "Propose":

  1. A preview shows the card exactly as it will be published (text + diagram). The description needs at least 30 characters, because that is what other coaches will read.
  2. Choose whether your name appears on the card. It is optional: without consent, the card only names your club. You can withdraw consent at any time by withdrawing the drill.
  3. Submit. The drill moves to "In review": every proposal is reviewed by Paak before publication, and nothing is published automatically.

Three possible outcomes, all notified by email:

  • Published: the card joins the Coach Corner community section at the next site update (usually within a few days), and the Community tab in Paak.
  • Not accepted: the reason is shown on the drill; you can edit it and propose it again. It stays fully usable by your club.
  • Withdrawn by you: at any time, with the "Withdraw" button. The drill becomes private again and its public card disappears at the following update.
What gets published is the version you proposed. Editing the drill after submitting changes neither the card in review nor the published card. To publish a new version, withdraw the drill and propose it again.

Browse community drills

In My drills, the "Community" tab lists the drills shared by other clubs: diagram, instructions, coaching points, and the club (or the coach, if they chose to be named) that proposed it. The same selection is public on Coach Corner: community drills.

These cards carry the "Club contribution" badge: unlike the Coach Corner guides, they do not cite a federation framework. They come from real coaching experience, reviewed before publication.

Vote "Useful"

Under each community drill, the "Useful" button surfaces the best contributions. One vote per person per drill; click again to remove it. The counts are visible on the cards, in Paak and on the public site.

Add a drill to your library

"Add to my library" copies the drill, diagram included, into your club's drills. The copy is then entirely yours: rename it, adapt the text, redraw the diagram; the original club has no further link to it. It appears under "My drills", slots into your session plans and prints like any other drill.

Plan limits. A copy counts as a custom drill: 5 at most on the Free plan, unlimited from Paak One.

FAQ

Who sees my name if I share a drill?
Nobody, unless you tick the box when proposing. Without consent, the public card only shows your club's name. With consent, it shows the name you entered (for example "Marie L."), and withdrawing the drill removes the name too, at the next site update.
How long does the review take?
Each proposal is reviewed by a person, with no guaranteed turnaround. The drill shows "In review" until a decision, and you are notified by email either way. Once accepted, the card appears on paak.club at the next site update.
How many drills can I propose?
Up to 5 proposals per club per 24 hours, plenty to share a season of ideas while keeping the review manageable.
Can a community drill disappear from my library?
No. "Add to my library" creates an independent copy: even if the author withdraws the original, your copy stays yours.
