Kyokushin · full-contact
Full-contact, no punches to the head. Win by ippon (KO or two waza-ari), hantei or shikkaku. Tameshiwari as a tie-breaker.
Shitō-ryū · 60+ kata
WKF scoring + a unique stat: number of kata mastered (60+ repertoire). Kata lineage tracked (Itosu, Higaonna, or both).
Gōjū-ryū · Sanchin + kata
WKF point scoring (yuko 1, waza-ari 2, ippon 3), like the other styles. The Gōjū identity is its Sanchin evaluation and core kata, not a separate ruleset.
Wadō-ryū · evasion + jujutsu
WKF scoring + unique stats: tai sabaki (body evasion), paired-kata score. Exclusive formation: paired kata (tori/uke).
Technique is scored too.
Kata is tracked with its own scores: technique (precision, power, rhythm) and athleticism (speed, balance, coordination), both individual and team.

Does Paak support all 5 karate styles?
Yes. Shotokan/WKF, Kyokushin, Shitō-ryū, Gōjū-ryū and Wadō-ryū are natively configured with their own scoring rules, sanctions and weight categories. Kyokushin, full-contact, has its own dedicated page.
Can I score a kumite fight live?
Yes. The kumite scoreboard offers real-time scoring with an aka/shiro split-screen, yuko (1 pt), waza-ari (2 pts) and ippon (3 pts) buttons, sanction tracking and ippon detection, from a phone or tablet at the edge of the tatami.
Are grades and belts managed?
Yes: the full progression, 9th kyu to 10th dan, in FFK order (white, yellow, orange, green, blue, brown) plus a dedicated Kyokushin order, with refereeing qualifications (C, B, A, A International) and teaching grades (Sempai, Sensei, Shihan), award dates and renewal reminders. For a French club the list is the FFK's, and each grade shows who awards it: kyu grades, the club teacher; dan grades, the FFK dan commission (CSDGE). Your club can adapt the list, free on every plan, and switch back to the official list at any time without losing anything. Paak records grades; it never homologates them.
Can Paak handle belt gradings?
Yes. Create a "Grading" session: the candidate list comes from the roll-call, and the exam sheet prints with your club's own criteria and scale (session and sheet available on every plan). From Paak One, each candidate is pre-filled to the next grade and one click updates every successful candidate's grade, with per-member history (previous grade, date, examiner).
