Cookie Policy
Last updated: 23 April 2026This page describes all cookies and similar storage technologies used on paak.club. It is written in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the EU GDPR and the French CNIL guidelines (Decision 2020-092).
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed by a website on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit it. It allows the site to remember information such as your language preference or your consent choice.
Paak also uses localStorage, a browser storage mechanism that works similarly to a cookie, to record your choice on the consent banner.
Our principle: audience measurement without cookies, cookies only with your consent
Paak counts the visits to paak.club with its own Matomo instance, hosted in France, without setting a cookie or reading anything on your device (no screen size, no plugin list before your consent) until you accept analytics cookies: anonymised IP address (the last two bytes are erased before anything is stored), pages viewed, browser type, where the visit came from. This measurement falls under the consent exemption for audience-measurement tools in the CNIL guidelines (deliberation No. 2020-091 of 17 September 2020, article 5) and its page « Cookies : solutions pour les outils de mesure d'audience » (updated 4 July 2025): a purpose limited to measuring the audience of this one site for its publisher, no cross-referencing with other processing, no transmission to third parties, raw data kept 25 months at most, a tracker limited to 13 months. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time (GDPR, Art. 21) with the button in the section « How to manage your consent ».
Cookies only arrive with your consent: if you accept analytics cookies through the banner, Matomo sets an identifier of 13 months at most to recognise your next visits. If you refuse, the measurement stays cookieless. No advertising cookie, no third-party tracker, ever.

Advertising, social media, personalisation
None. Paak uses no advertising cookies, no Facebook pixels, no social-network cookies and no third-party US scripts.
How to manage your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, in three ways:
- Through the consent banner: if you delete the
paak_cookie_consentcookie in your browser settings, the banner will reappear on your next visit. - Through your browser: you can delete existing cookies and block future cookies in your privacy settings. These pages explain how: Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge.
- Button below: reopens the consent banner so you can change your choice.
- Object to any audience measurement: the second button stops the measurement on this device, cookies or not (GDPR, Art. 21). Clicking again turns it back on.
