Step by step
- From the Management menu, open Settings, then Payments. The "Stripe, your club's payment account" card shows when your club's country is Canada, the United States or Australia.
- Step "Create the club's Stripe account": say what your club is (a non-profit, a company, or an individual for an independent coach), then click "Create the account and continue on Stripe". Paak creates a free Stripe account in the club's name and sends you to Stripe's site.
- On Stripe's site, complete the details Stripe asks for (the identity of the person in charge, the club's details, the bank account for payouts). You can come back to Paak at any time: the card updates when you return, and "Refresh status" re-reads Stripe's answer.
- Step "Complete the details": while Stripe is still waiting for something from you, the card says so ("Stripe is still waiting for … pieces of information from you") and "Continue on Stripe" takes you back there. Once Stripe has everything, the card shows "Nothing to do on your side": Stripe is reviewing your club's file and Paak updates the page. "Follow on Stripe" opens your Stripe dashboard.
- Step "Ready to collect": it switches on when Stripe has activated card payments on the club's account. It then tells you, in plain words, where collecting from Paak stands (below).
Collecting from Paak
Since 15 October 2026, collecting goes through that account. Payment links sent from a member's page, online registration with payment built in, payment from the member portal (one fee, or "Pay everything"), equipment sales and the renewal links of the season rollover open a Stripe payment page, by card, in Canadian dollars: the receipt sends itself and the fee turns "paid" as soon as Stripe confirms.
Instalment and monthly formules work too: the member pays the first instalment by card, the card is saved on the club's Stripe account (never on Paak's), and Paak charges each following instalment on the club's debit day; a declined card informs the member and the club, and never excludes anyone. A refund is made from the payment's page: Stripe returns Paak's fee as well, and the membership goes back to awaiting payment. Not through Stripe: Interac e-Transfer and pre-authorized debit (PAD), which you record by hand.

What are the fees?
Stripe's fees, charged by Stripe to the club at the rates of your country (read on 14 October 2026; check them on Stripe's pricing page for your country):
- Canada: 2.9% + CA$0.30 per payment with a Canadian card, + 0.8% for an international card, CA$15 per dispute (stripe.com/en-ca/pricing).
- Australia: 1.65% + A$0.30 per payment with an Australian card, 3.5% + A$0.30 for an international card, A$25 per dispute (stripe.com/au/pricing).

Paak's commission: the rule of our pricing, the same as with Mollie: 1.2% per payment, capped at 2.50 in the currency of the payment, on the Free plan; 0% from Paak One.
Payments recorded by hand (Interac e-Transfer, cheque, cash): no Paak fee, no Stripe fee.
