Connect Mollie

Paak uses Mollie, a European payment provider based in the Netherlands, to handle online dues collection. Money goes directly to your Mollie account — Paak never holds your funds.

Step by step

  1. Go to Settings (sidebar) then Payments
  2. Click "Connect Mollie"
  3. You are redirected to Mollie's website to authorise Paak via OAuth. If you do not have a Mollie account yet, you can create one during this step
  4. Once authorised, you are returned to Paak and your Mollie status shows as Connected
Note: Mollie requires identity verification (KYC) before you can receive payments. This process is handled entirely by Mollie and typically takes 1-2 business days.

FAQ

Which payment methods are supported?
Mollie supports credit cards, SEPA direct debit, Bancontact, iDEAL and more. Available methods depend on your Mollie account configuration and country.
What are the fees?
Two fees add up on each online payment. Not one more. No Mollie subscription, no hidden Paak commission.

Mollie processing fees (paid to the payment provider, April 2026):
• Cartes Bancaires (most common FR card): 1.20% + €0.25 per transaction
• Visa / Mastercard (non-CB): 1.80% + €0.25
• SEPA direct debit: €0.35 per transaction
• SEPA bank transfer: €0.25 per transaction

Paak platform fee: 0.82% of each transaction. This funds the ongoing development of the platform.

Worked example: for a €100 membership paid by CB, the club receives €97.73 (€100 − €1.45 Mollie − €0.82 Paak).

Manual payments (cash, check, bank transfer collected outside Mollie): no Paak fee, no Mollie fee.
Can I disconnect Mollie?
Yes, from the same Settings → Payments page. Pending payments will not be affected — they will still be processed by Mollie.
