What J+S pays
For a club-sport J+S course (user group 1), the Confederation pays a contribution computed from participant-hours: over all valid trainings, the number of attendees aged 5 to 20 multiplied by the activity duration. The club's J+S coach closes the offer in the NDS (national sports database) no later than 30 days after the last activity; the FOSPO then pays 80% of the contribution, the remainder at the start of the following year.
Mark a J+S offer
- Open Jeunesse+Sport in the menu (Swiss clubs, Paak One).
- Click Mark a J+S offer, choose the team and the season.
- That's it. No extra data entry during the season: everything is computed from the attendance your coaches already take at each session.
What Paak computes
- Participant-hours — eligible attendees (aged 5-20 by date of birth) × session duration, over past trainings. Sessions under 60 minutes or with fewer than 3 eligible participants do not count; beyond 90 minutes the duration is capped — so the estimate can only understate, never over-promise.
- Course validity — the federal rules checked continuously: at least 15 valid trainings, spread over at least 12 distinct weeks, across a span of at least 15 weeks, with at least 3 eligible participants per training and a duration of 60 to 90 minutes.
- An estimate in francs — participant-hours × the rate published by the FOSPO. It is an estimate, never a promise: the decision and the payment belong to the Confederation.
- Per-session alerts — a session with 2 eligible participants or a 45-minute duration is flagged while there is still time to fix course, not discovered in June.
The closing deadline
As soon as the offer's last training is behind you, Paak shows the countdown: the offer must be closed in the NDS within 30 days. Between 30 and 60 days late, the FOSPO may reduce the contributions; beyond 60 days, the entitlement is lost. The dashboard turns orange, then red — the window cannot be missed.
The NDS import file
The NDS accepts an official import file for the attendance check (AWK). Paak generates it in the format documented by the FOSPO: one row per attendance, with the NDS personal number, the function, the date, the activity type, the time, the duration and the venue.
- Enter each member's NDS personal number once (contact page, "NDS personal number" field). Attendees without a number are listed — the file skips them until the number is captured.
- On the Jeunesse+Sport page, click Prepare the file then Download the CSV.
- Import the file into the NDS. The FOSPO's precondition: people and activities must already exist in the NDS — the file fills in who attended what, nothing else.
FAQ
Can Paak close the offer in the NDS for me?
No. The NDS offers no public access for third-party software to do that. Your J+S coach closes the offer in the NDS — Paak prepares everything so that step takes minutes.
Is the displayed amount guaranteed?
No — it is an estimate at the rate published by the FOSPO, subject to the programme rules and the federal budget. The contribution decision belongs to the FOSPO, which spot-checks the accounts.
What about J+S camps?
Covered too. Create one session of type Camp per camp day and take attendance: Paak counts participant-days (CHF 16 per participant per day), adds them to the estimate, and the NDS file carries the camp days in the official format ("Lagertag" — date only, as the FOSPO requires). Note: the contribution is reduced for camps without an overnight stay, and camp days without 4 hours of J+S activities are marked in the NDS after the import — two nuances that stay on the coach's side.
How do I avoid missing the closing deadline?
Paak handles it: as soon as the last training is behind you, the countdown appears and reminders go out (in-app notification at the J-30/J-14/J-7/J-2 milestones, email to the club admin at the urgent ones). Once the offer is closed in the NDS, click "Mark as closed" — the reminders stop.
Does my attendance have to be accurate?
Yes — J+S requires attendance recorded "promptly and truthfully", and the FOSPO spot-checks. Per-session attendance in Paak is exactly that evidence trail.
