Payment receipts

PAYMENTS Reading time : 4 min Updated October 25, 2026
Every payment your club receives, a membership, an item or a basket of both, gives a numbered receipt. The member gets it by email with the PDF, finds it in their member space, and you find it on their page.

What a receipt contains

  • A number specific to your club (R-000042), counted without gaps and never changed once the receipt is issued.
  • The club's legal name, register number and address, as you entered them.
  • What was paid, line by line, with the child's name when a parent pays for several, the total paid, the payment method and the date.
  • A payment in instalments gives a receipt at each instalment ("Instalment 2 of 4").

A basket of two memberships and a jersey paid in one go gives a single receipt with its three lines.

Where the member finds it

  1. At each payment, an email in the club's name arrives with the receipt as a PDF.
  2. In the member space, Payments tab, the My receipts section keeps them all in one place.
  3. Receipts show amounts and a name, so Paak asks for a 6-digit code sent by email before showing them.
  4. The member opens the receipt or downloads the PDF, for an employer or a works council for instance.

What the club can do

On a member's page, the Receipts card lists their receipts. It is reserved for the club's administrators.

  • View the receipt as the member reads it, or download the PDF.
  • Send again by email (once an hour per receipt).
  • Reissue a receipt: the current one stays in the archive marked "replaced" and a new number is issued with today's club identity. The reason is required and stays with your club.

On the Payments page, the Receipts register (CSV) button exports every receipt of the year, one per line, for your treasurer. It is available on every plan.

When you mark a membership as paid in cash, by cheque or by transfer, Paak records the payment and issues the receipt. A free membership gives none: nothing was paid.

The club's identity on receipts

In Settings → General → Identity on receipts, enter the legal name, the register number (SIREN, UID, KvK…), the address and, if you wish, a note for the bottom of each receipt. A French club whose association is verified has nothing to enter: its name, address and SIREN come from the register.

Receipts already issued do not change. To give a receipt the new identity, reissue it from the member's page.

FAQ

Is a receipt an invoice?
No. It is proof of payment. Paak prints no VAT amount on it and has no field for a VAT number: what your club owes in that respect remains yours to handle.
A member's payment is refunded: does the receipt change?
No, the receipt stays in the archive as it was issued. The refund shows on the payment's page.
What about the Pass'Sport aid?
The family did not pay that amount, so it is not in the receipt's total. It appears for information on the receipt of the membership concerned and in the member's archive.
Which language is the receipt in?
The club's language (Settings → Club profile), like the other emails your members get from it.
My member has no email address.
The receipt is issued anyway. You download it from their page and hand it over; they also find it in their member space once they have an address.
