The French law of 8 March 2024 wrote the annual background check into article L. 212-9 of the code du sport. Paak handles the full cycle on the club side. Paak performs no verification and certifies nothing.
The duty covers functions, not volunteer status. Sports educators (paid or voluntary), referees and judges, operators of sports establishments — "notably association officers" per the Ministry of Sports. The parent running the bar or the scoring table is not a supervisor: do not ask them for an attestation. Full detail, with sources, in Child protection: who is actually covered.
Step 1 — Complete identity fields
Before preparing the federation upload, each instructor (coach, staff, admin, referee) needs the 4 identity fields required by FIJAISV:
- Birth name — maiden name if different.
- City of birth.
- INSEE code (5 digits).
- Title (M / F).
Step 2 — Compliance dashboard
- From Operations, click Qualifications.
- Pick the "Honorabilité" tab.
- Real-time summary: total instructors, verified, expired, expiring soon, never verified, and compliance rate.
Step 3 — Export the federation CSV
The "Export for federation" button (Paak One and Paak Pro) generates a CSV in the SI Honorabilité format expected by the French Ministry of Sports.
Step 4 — Mark an instructor verified
Once the federation responds, click "Mark verified" and enter the certificate number, verification type, and expiry date (default 12 months).

- Automatic legal notification — each new instructor receives an email per the law of 8 March 2024.
- Expiry reminders — emails at 30, 14, 7 and 0 days before expiry.
- Yearly renewal reminder — at 30 days before expiry.

Does Paak verify the background itself?
No. Federations transmit licensee data automatically so that the State services can run the check. Paak prepares the CSV and tracks status.
