Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the club
What sport does for women's health, and what it still owes them.
|
| What's new in Paak, explained simply, for the people who keep the club running. |

Lead story
Something to act on at your club, with nothing made up
October is breast cancer awareness month. Every week, your club sees players, parents on the sideline, volunteers and coaches. Paak gives you three things, all sourced, on every plan:
| 1 |
A ready-to-send message for your members. In Newsletters, the template “Breast health message (October)” gives four pointers taken from official sources, with the screening offered in your country where we know it. No advertising. You read and adapt it before sending. |
| 2 |
A “Breast health” card on the page of your women's or mixed teams. Sports bra, knocks, signs that should send someone to a doctor, and your sport's rule where it has one (fencing, boxing, rugby). It shows because you declared the team women's or mixed: no data about any player is used. |
| 3 |
An October page in Training, until 31 October. Open a session to everyone, keep a record of the action, welcome a member after cancer, stay fair. |
| | Sport does not replace screening. It is the first message of this awareness month, and the one to keep if you keep only one. |
The monthly email budget is 50 on the free plan, 300 on Paak One and 5,000 on Paak Pro. The full guide, with every source: Breast health in sport. And the article to go further: what sport does for women's health.

Tip of the month
Keep a record of what your club does
A session open to everyone, a message sent, a talk given: log it in Partners, Territorial actions tab, type Sport and health, with the number of people reached. It then sits with the other actions your club takes in its area. Club administrators only. And if the club raises money this month: say how much, and which organisation receives it.
|
|
Also this month
Two settings few clubs have found
| – | Emergency protocols. In the Emergency protocols menu, what to do step by step for an injury, severe weather, a facility emergency or a missing participant. Every coach and staff member can read the page. An administrator writes the club's own steps (who to call, where the defibrillator is, where to gather) and can go back to the Paak steps at any time. Paak does not call the emergency services for you. How it works. | | – | The language of emails to your members. In Settings, Club profile, choose the language of the reminders, confirmations and receipts Paak sends your members on behalf of the club (French, English or German). If you choose nothing, it is the country's language. |

The Paak app is on Android
You asked for it, and we promised to tell you here: the Paak app is available on Google Play. Roll call and attendance at sessions, live match tracking even without a network, club reminders as notifications.

One question this month

Between clubs
Know a club that could use Paak?
Forward them this issue with your referral link, which you will find in the Subscription menu. If they sign up through it, their first month is free. Once they have paid 3 months, you receive the equivalent of 2 months of their plan, as free days on yours (as months of Paak One if your club is on the free plan). My referral linkThe credit never exceeds two thirds of what the referred club has paid, and it is granted at the earliest 90 days after its first payment. It is capped at 12 months of your plan over any rolling twelve months, and applied by the Paak team.
