Pool, open water, relays — all on one profile.
Pool, open water, relays, measurements — four pillars.
A unified tracker covers every event: the statistics that matter to pool and open water are the same (times, splits, strokes). The swimmer profile specifies the main stroke, the distances practised and the personal bests.
50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m. Every stroke, every meet — from the club to the Swiss championships.
Races on lake, river or sea. Same swimmer profile, same personal bests — the swimmer's main stroke does not change with the environment.
4×100m, 4×200m, 4×100m medley. Team composition by leg order, first / second / third / last.
SWOLF score (time + stroke count) and season improvement computed automatically from the times entered.
One profile per swimmer. Not ten spreadsheets.
Each member carries their main stroke, their events, their personal best and their Swiss Aquatics licence — annual (Jahreslizenz) or temporary (Temporärlizenz, for Masters and open water). A family of swimmers? Households grouped, invoices bundled, family discounts applied automatically.

SWOLF computes itself.
Every time entered, every stroke count feeds the swimmer's SWOLF score. Season improvement is computed by formula from the previous best time. No separate app needed — the technical measure lives on the profile.

Sonderprivatauszug & Ethics Charter — tracked for you.
Switzerland has no equivalent to France's 8 March 2024 law, but Swiss Olympic recommends the special criminal-record extract (Sonderprivatauszug) for any staff member in regular contact with minors, alongside the Swiss Olympic Ethics Charter and the Youth+Sport (J+S) framework. Paak documents and tracks each staff member's status — coach, lifeguard, volunteer — alerts before expiry and keeps an audit log.
- Per-staff tracking — valid / expiring / expired
- Automatic reminders before every expiry
- Sonderprivatauszug + Swiss Olympic Ethics Charter status per person
- Audit log — the club orders the extract, Paak tracks its validity

From Krebs to Eisbär, then into competition.
The Swiss learn-to-swim badges — the Schweizerische Tests im Schwimmsport, issued by swimsports.ch (Swiss Aquatics builds on this foundation) — are integrated as a field on the youth profile. The seven basic tests (Grundlagentests 1–7), named after animals, from the initial Krebs (crab) to the Eisbär (polar bear), then the advanced Schwimmtests. Paak tracks the progression: the coach knows who is ready for the next stage.
Alongside the swimsports.ch tests, the main discipline (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, medley — selectable events) stays visible on the same profile. The coach keeps the full trajectory: from the first kick in the water to the first start at a regional meet.
"I was lucky enough to learn rugby at the Stade Français school — a large multi-sport club in the heart of Paris, where the volunteers kept the machine running. Most amateur clubs don't have that structure behind them. Paak exists for the others: the same tools, whatever the size of the club."
Frequently asked
Does Paak handle both pool and open water?
Yes. Pool (50m to 1500m, short and long distances) and open water (races on lake, river or sea) share the same tracker — the statistics that matter to both are identical: total time, split times, reaction time, stroke count. The swimmer's main stroke and preferred event are recorded on their profile.
Which strokes and events are recognised?
Five strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, individual medley. Nine events in the profile picklist: 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, plus 4×100m, 4×200m and 4×100m medley relays. A swimmer can select their main stroke and several events.
What is the SWOLF score in Paak?
SWOLF (SWim gOLF) is an indicator of technical efficiency: lap time + stroke count. The lower the score, the better the swim. Paak computes SWOLF automatically from the time and stroke count entered during a session — no separate app needed.
How does Paak handle the Swiss Aquatics licence season?
The Swiss Aquatics licence season runs from 1 September to 31 August. Each member carries their licence — annual (Jahreslizenz) or temporary (Temporärlizenz) — on their profile, and the compliance dashboard alerts before every expiry. Official results are tracked on swimrankings.net, under World Aquatics rules; the standard metric is the World Aquatics point.
Is a medical certificate required?
No, not at federation level for an ordinary Swiss Aquatics licence; checks are mandatory only for the elite squad. Paak respects this difference: requiresMedicalCert is false for Switzerland. A club can require a certificate locally.
How much does Paak cost for a Swiss swimming club?
Free up to 100 members, with no time limit. Paak One at CHF 29/month and Paak Pro at CHF 99/month for larger clubs. Same price for any sport.
