Paak already manages your members, CHF and TWINT payments, and teams. For the SKF (Swiss Karate Federation, WKF co-founder), it goes further: complete Kyu-Dan progression, integrated Dan Register, 20+ styles, Kata + Kumite. Complementary to Sportdata and Sports-ID, never a substitute.
SKF IT architecture — Paak complementary
The SKF operates on two federation platforms: Sportdata (vendor Sportdata, Herisau, official WKF partner) for competitions, the Swiss Karate League and ranking since 2009 at sportdata.org/skf; Sports-ID (deployed in 2025) for member management, ID card and event management with smartcard technology at sportsid.org. You keep both. Paak does not try to replace them.

Multi-style (a Shotokan + Goju-ryu dojo, or a karate club + other sections), Mollie payments in CHF + TWINT outside the licence (dues, camps, training courses, sponsors), parent communications, club accounting, individual performance, volunteers, training planning.
Honest position
The SKF does not use Fairgate — different integration path than SJV judo and STV gymnastics. Sports-ID is recent (2025), Paak can position for the club-management layer that Sports-ID doesn't cover (off-licence payments, parent comm, accounting).
Swiss karate specifics
Complete Kyu-Dan tracking
9 or 10 Kyu grades (white → brown, colour progression varies by style) then 1st to 10th Dan. Yudansha (1st-4th Dan) = technical perfection; Kodansha (5th Dan+) = personal development and knowledge transfer. Kyu exam fee: CHF 15 (free under 13).
Public SKF Dan Register
Official digital register of Dan holders, public and queryable by name/section/sub-section at danregister.karate.ch. Field skfDanRegisterEntry tracked at the athlete profile in Paak (Session 212 Commit 14).
20+ styles under one federation
Shotokan, Shito-ryu, Goju-ryu, Wado-ryu (the 4 major WKF styles) + others. Federalist structure: style-based or cantonal sections. Paak allows each dojo and each athlete to be tagged with their style without duplicate sport configuration.
Kata + Kumite, WKF scoring
Two competition formats: Kata (form, judged) and Kumite (combat, arithmetic scoring). WKF sums yuko (1 point) + waza-ari (2 points) + ippon (3 points). Different from SJV judo which is count-based (not cumulative). Categories U12, U14, U16, U18, U21, Elite.

Variations: the Kyu colour progression varies by style (Shotokan, Shito-ryu, Goju-ryu, Wado-ryu). Exams are managed by style section (e.g. SKR up to 2nd Dan internally; 3rd Dan+ involves JKA fees for JKA-affiliated styles). No medical certificate required at grassroots level.

None. Sportdata and Sports-ID don't expose a public developer API. Dan Register web-only. Bridge today: CSV import.
Are SKF age categories supported?
Yes. U12, U14, U16 (Cadets), U18 (Juniors), U21 (Espoirs), Elite. Kata + Kumite.
Are the 20+ SKF styles managed?
