Swiss Badminton operates on TournamentSoftware (vendor Visual Reality B.V., Netherlands, BWF-mandated worldwide) at sb.tournamentsoftware.com. It's the source of truth for tournament management, interclub, ranking and player search. You keep it. Paak does not try to replace it.

What changes for a Swiss club.
No medical certificate required, the Swiss Badminton interclub formats, CHF and TWINT, several sections on one account; the FFBaD fields (CPPH, FFBaD licence) do not appear on a Swiss club's profiles.
Categories U11 to Elite
U11 (regional), U13, U15, U17, U19 (Junior Series + national cadre), Elite/Senior, per swiss-badminton.ch (checked 7 May 2026). In Paak each becomes a training group or a team.
11 sub-federations
Swiss Badminton, founded 1954, comprises 11 regional sub-federations. If yours adapts the rules of your leagues, the tie is created with your own format.
No medical certificate
Swiss Badminton requires none: Paak asks Swiss clubs for none.
Multi-section
Many Swiss clubs combine several sports: badminton and table tennis, or other sections. Paak manages multiple sections under one platform and one subscription.

Switzerland has no direct equivalent to the French law of 8 March 2024, but Swiss Olympic, of which Swiss Badminton is a member, recommends the Sonderprivatauszug (special criminal-record extract) for any coach in regular contact with minors, under the joint programme with FOSPO "No sexual abuse in sport".

Frequently asked questions
Does Paak replace TournamentSoftware?
No. TournamentSoftware (Visual Reality B.V., BWF-mandated) remains the official tool for tournament, interclub, ranking. Paak is complementary.
Does Paak handle interclub ties?
Yes, as the club's tie sheet. Create the tie in the format of the Swiss Badminton Interclub rules: 1st to 5th league, 7 matches (3 MS, WS, MD, WD, XD, art. 32); NLA and NLB, 8 matches, doubles first and the mixed last (art. 45); or your own format. You line up your players, Paak flags a player lined up for more than two matches, and each match score is entered game by game, on every plan, checked against the league's format: best of 3 games to 15 in the 1st to 5th leagues, best of 5 games to 11 (at most 15) in NLA and NLB. With Paak Pro a singles match can also be scored live, in the league's format. Paak works out the tie score; TournamentSoftware stays the official tool for results.
Can Paak connect to TournamentSoftware?
Not automatically: TournamentSoftware has no public API. The bridge today: a CSV import of your members.
What about the Swiss Badminton age categories?
Your U11, U13, U15, U17, U19 and Elite become training groups and teams in Paak; the profile has no Swiss Badminton category field. Swiss Badminton requires no medical certificate: Paak asks Swiss clubs for none.
Is BWF ranking integrated?
No. The ranking stays in TournamentSoftware; the CSV import brings in your members, not their ranking. Paak tracks individual performance in addition: attendance, matches scored live.
What about our regional association?
Paak does not link your club to its regional association. If it adapts the rules of your leagues (an 8th game, for example), create the tie with your own format. Several sections (badminton, table tennis…) share one Paak account.
Are there ready-made training sessions?
Yes. Pick an age band and a theme (footwork, serve & rear court, net play, doubles, conditioning) and Paak builds a complete session (warm-up, two mains, a match-play game) from 29 drills sourced from published federation documents (BWF Shuttle Time, FFBaD, Swiss Badminton / J+S): exactly the same ones as in the Côté Coach guide. For the youngest, everything runs through the adapted formats (MiniBad, slow shuttle, lowered net), no jump smash before the right age. Planning, editing and saving the session is free; printing the sheet and club-authored drills beyond 5 are in Paak One.
