Swiss Badminton · ~15,000 licensed · ~270 clubs · ~220,000 recreational · founded 1954

The software for Swiss badminton, connected.

Paak already manages your members, CHF payments (TWINT rolling out), and teams. For Swiss Badminton (Ittigen, Haus des Sports), it goes further: categories U11 to Elite, multi-section, parent communications, club accounting. Complementary to TournamentSoftware (BWF-mandated), never a substitute.

  • Complementary to TournamentSoftware — the federal source of truth stays in place, Paak lives alongside it
  • Payments in CHF + TWINT rolling out, for everything outside the licence (dues, camps, courts)
  • nLPD-compatible hosting — data in the EU, on Switzerland's adequacy list

Paak complements TournamentSoftware — no need to replace it.

Swiss Badminton operates on TournamentSoftware (vendor Visual Reality B.V., Netherlands, BWF-mandated worldwide) at sb.tournamentsoftware.com. It's the source of truth for tournament management, interclub, ranking and player search. You keep it. Paak does not try to replace it.

  • Honest position — Swiss Badminton is a Swiss Olympic member, TournamentSoftware platform in long-time use
  • Public API: none — a GitHub scraper project was IP-banned. Bridge today: CSV import
  • Paak operates the club-management layer that TournamentSoftware does not cover deeply (CHF, parents, club accounting, multi-section)

Two tools, two distinct roles.

The federation comprises 11 regional sub-federations and is the sole recognised governing body — Swiss Olympic member. TournamentSoftware stays your federal reference; Paak handles the club's daily life.

Swiss badminton specifics

Configured for Swiss Badminton, not adapted on the fly.

Age categories, sub-federations, Swiss medical norms, multi-section — pre-configured at the SportUIConfig CH level.

Categories U11 to Elite

U11 (regional), U13, U15, U17, U19 (Junior Series + national cadre), Elite/Senior. Source verified swiss-badminton.ch 2026-05-07, with automatic age transition.

11 sub-federations

Swiss Badminton, founded 1954, comprises 11 regional sub-federations. Paak allows tagging each club with its region for reporting and inter-club coordination.

No medical certificate

Swiss norm, requiresMedicalCert: false in the SportUIConfig CH (Session 212 Commit 7). Consistent with the Swiss grassroots practice. Each club can track its own youth validations.

Multi-section

Many Swiss clubs combine multiple sports — badminton + table tennis, or other sections. Paak manages multiple sections under one platform and one subscription.

Swiss badminton, on top of everything Paak already does: member management and dues collection in CHF (Mollie + TWINT rolling out) · training, interclub, court rental, camp scheduling · parent convocations by email with RSVP (youths from U11) · individual performance statistics (attendance, singles, doubles, mixed) · nLPD-compatible hosting (the EU is on Switzerland's adequacy list).
Youth protection · Sonderprivatauszug

Sonderprivatauszug recommended — tracked for you.

Switzerland has no direct equivalent to the French law of 8 March 2024, but Swiss Olympic — of which Swiss Badminton is a member — recommends the Sonderprivatauszug (special criminal-record extract) for any coach in regular contact with minors, under the joint programme with FOSPO "No sexual abuse in sport".

  • Per-coach issue-date tracking — valid / expiring soon / expired
  • Alerts 30 / 14 / 7 days before renewal (every 5 years by default, configurable per club)
  • CSV export in one click — nLPD-compatible approach, data in the EU
