The software that REALLY speaks Swiss tennis
Paak already manages your members, CHF and TWINT payments, and teams. For Swiss Tennis, it goes further: Klassierung N1-N4 + R1-R9 wired in code, Kids Tennis Red → Orange → Green progression as U10 prerequisite, April-March licence period metadata. Complementary to myTennis and Advantage, in a different category from Fairgate.
myTennis + Advantage + Paak — each its own layer
Swiss Tennis runs its own tools: myTennis (official PWA, mytennis.ch, ~50,000 player profiles, Azure AD B2C SSO since 2025) for the player portal, Spielerbörse, Match Up and official ranking; Advantage (comp.swisstennis.ch/advantage) for official tournament administration. You keep both. Paak positions itself in a different category: multi-sport, integrated CHF + TWINT payments, tactical club scoring, individual performance, volunteers.
Stays in myTennis (player)
Official player profile, Match Up (self-organised classification-relevant matches launched Oct 2024), Spielerbörse (matchmaking launched autumn 2025), push notifications (Premium CHF 36/year), official ranking. Player-side tool, that's where it belongs.
Stays in Advantage (tournament)
Tournament registration, scheduling, result entry, electronic match sheet. Mandatory for official tournaments. SSO myTennis since 2025. Paak does not replace it.
What Paak adds (club)
Multi-sport (a tennis + other-section club, one platform), Mollie payments in CHF + TWINT outside the licence (court rentals, camps, training courses, sponsors), tactical club scoring, individual performance, volunteers, training planning, communication.
What about Fairgate? Plugin?
Fairgate is the first integrator of the Swiss Tennis licence API (gated, partnership-required). Plugin (Romandie) is announced as second. Paak would be the third partner ask — Tier 2 on the CH roadmap after SHV handball and Swiss Volley. Honest position: different category, often complementary — not a Fairgate substitute.
On the Swiss Tennis API: Swiss Tennis has developed a licence management API (2024 IT report) accessible in partnership. Fairgate is integrated, Plugin announced. Paak is aiming for partner parity in a different category (multi-sport ops + payments), after demonstrating CH credibility with SHV and Swiss Volley. Contact on the Swiss Tennis side: Jannick Schlumpf, Head of IT.
Swiss Tennis Klassierung — wired in Paak's code
Swiss Tennis uses a classification system (Klassierung) distinct from a traditional ranking. 13 classes: 4 national (N1-N4) + 9 regional (R1-R9). Biannual refresh. Men's/women's differentiated ranges. CH override wired in code (Session 212 Commit 12).

Kids Tennis High School — U10 prerequisite
Pedagogical progression unique to Swiss Tennis. The Green level is a prerequisite for the U10 licence since 2016. Paak tracks the progression at the child profile (Session 212 Commit 12).
In Paak: Kids Tennis level tracked at child profile as a label field. The club can filter its U10s without Green to target training. Diploma awarded after the three levels. Official app: my.kidstennis.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Klassierung N1-N4 + R1-R9 supported?
Yes. The 13 classes (4 national + 9 regional) with men's/women's differentiated ranges are wired into the player profile in Paak (CH override of the tennis sport, Session 212 Commit 12). Biannual refresh tracked in code, manual update today — auto-sync via Swiss Tennis API on the CH-INT-SWISS-TENNIS roadmap (Tier 2).
Kids Tennis Red/Orange/Green for U10?
Yes. The Red → Orange → Green progression is tracked at the child profile. Green level prerequisite for the U10 licence since 2016. Paak can alert clubs before U10 registration.
Is the Swiss Tennis April-March season natively supported?
The licence period start month (April) is written as metadata on the tennis sport (Session 212 Commit 15). Today Paak does not yet support per-sport cadence within the same club — Seasons are org-scoped. Tennis-only clubs can manually set their org season to April-March in Settings. Native per-sport separation is on the CH-PER-SPORT-SEASON-SPLIT roadmap.
Does Paak replace Fairgate, Plugin or myTennis?
No. myTennis remains the official player portal (Match Up, Spielerbörse, ranking). Advantage remains the mandatory tournament platform. Fairgate and Plugin are Swiss club-management tools, partners of the Swiss Tennis licence API. Paak positions itself in a different category — multi-sport, integrated CHF + TWINT payments, tactical club scoring, individual performance. Often complementary to Fairgate today.
Are the 3 Swiss Tennis licence types managed?
Yes. Mitgliederlizenz (CHF 70/40), Einzellizenz (CHF 160/130), Turnierlizenz (CHF 50/25) are available in Paak. 2024-25 pricing verified, confirmed unchanged for 2025-26 by AD 2025.
Is a medical certificate required?
No, not at Swiss Tennis federation level. Paak respects this difference: requiresMedicalCert is false. A club can locally require one.
