From the Excel sheet to live 5v5 scoring. Swiss basketball, connected.
Paak already manages your members, CHF payments (TWINT rolling out), and teams. For Swiss Basketball, it goes further: 5v5 scoring under FIBA rules, FTEM + PISTE Talent Cards from Swiss Olympic, Aktive licences across 9 regional associations. Swiss basketball has no officially endorsed club tool today — Paak is the open opportunity.
- Live scoring — +2, +3, free-throw buttons, attributed to the player, team total automatic
- Fouls tracked — automatic ejection of the player at 5 personal fouls (FIBA)
- FTEM + PISTE Talent Cards — Swiss Olympic development level tracked at the athlete profile
Free up to 100 members. Swiss pilots open · nLPD-compatible hosting.
Everything a Swiss Basketball club manages, in one tool.
Basketplan + Paak — complementary, not competing.
Swiss Basketball runs its own tools: Basketplan (ORCA Systems, Zurich, integrated on swiss.basketball) for licence issuance, championship registration (NLA, NLB, 1. Liga, regional leagues across 9 regional associations), referee management and official rankings; FIBA LiveStats by Genius Sports as the electronic match sheet in NLA/NLB. You keep both. Paak does not try to replace them — we cover what these tools don't: multi-sport, CHF payments outside the licence (TWINT rolling out), sponsors, tactical live scoring, individual performance, volunteers.
Stay your federation reference
- Licence issuance (CHF 40 per player in 2024-25)
- Championship entry, official rankings
- Referee management and assignment
- FIBA LiveStats: electronic match sheet in NLA/NLB
What you gain on top
- Multi-sport (basketball + volleyball + judo on one platform)
- Mollie payments in CHF (TWINT rolling out) outside the licence (tournaments, camps, courses, sponsors)
- Tactical live scoring: positions, lineups, individual performance
- Internal club statistics in parallel with FIBA LiveStats
- Volunteers, training planning, communication
2, 3, free throw — every basket to the right player.
Swiss Basketball applies the FIBA rule set unchanged. During the match, one tap records a 2-point, 3-point or free-throw basket — attributed to the shooter, and the team score updates on its own. Paak's internal stats live in parallel with FIBA LiveStats (which remains the official record in NLA/NLB).
- +2, +3, free throw — three distinct buttons, automatic team total
- Rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turnovers — one tap from your phone
- Auto ejection at 5 fouls — the counter automatically triggers the final ejection alert

A player profile that follows the Swiss Talent pathway.
Swiss Basketball aligns with the FTEM framework (Foundations / Talent / Elite / Mastery) and the PISTE Talent Ranking from Swiss Olympic, which issues cantonal / regional / national Talent Cards. Paak tracks these labels at the athlete profile, season by season.
- FTEM level tracked at the athlete profile as a season-tracked label
- PISTE Talent Card current card and its level (cantonal / regional / national)
- Automatic metrics — PPG, RPG, APG, field-goal % and free-throw %
- Categories U10 to U20 + Senior attached automatically to the season
The score, in basketball's own terms.
No invented stats: exactly the events a basketball coach needs to record. Each action logged with one button feeds the score and the player's profile.
5 positions, from point guard to centre.
Universal FIBA positions, identical at Swiss Basketball level. Each position has its own typical statistics. The athlete profile foregrounds the right stats by role.
PG Point Guard
Assists, vision, tempo control.
SG Shooting Guard
3-point shooting, perimeter scoring.
SF Small Forward
Versatility, outside and inside shooting.
PF Power Forward
Rebounds, mid-range scoring, post play.
C Centre
Rebounds, blocks, close-range scoring.

Swiss Basketball licences and J+S qualifications.
All on the same profile, with automatic alert before expiry.
- Swiss Basketball player licence — CHF 40/year in 2024-25 (2025-26 pricing not yet published at the time of writing). Number, age category, validity date.
- Required documents at registration — registration form, photo, parental authorisation for minors, FIBA LOC (Letter of Clearance) for international transfers.
- No federation medical certificate —
requiresMedicalCertisfalse. A club can locally require one. - Multi-role — the same member can be player + coach + referee. Paak handles multi-role selection on Contact.
- J+S (Jugend+Sport) qualifications — Swiss federal training framework. Acquisition date and expiry tracked.
- Swiss Basketball refereeing qualifications — regional, national. Club availability tracked in Paak (official delegation remains in Basketplan).
Sonderprivatauszug — the Swiss Olympic recommendation.
Switzerland has no direct equivalent to the French law of 8 March 2024. Like any Swiss sports club in contact with minors, your basketball club is invited to apply the Swiss Olympic recommendation of the Sonderprivatauszug (special criminal-record extract) for every regular coach, within the joint programme with the FOSPO "No sexual abuse in sport".
- Tracks each coach's Sonderprivatauszug issue date — valid / expiring soon / expired
- Reminders 30 / 14 / 7 days before renewal (every 5 years by default, in line with standard practice of Swiss sports associations, configurable per club)

Frequently asked questions
Does Paak handle the FIBA Swiss Basketball format?
Yes. 5v5, 4 quarters of 10 minutes, values 2/3/1 (FIBA applied unchanged by Swiss Basketball). The U10 to U20 + Senior categories attach automatically to the season.
Is the automatic ejection at 5 fouls triggered?
Yes. Each personal foul is timestamped and attributed to the player. The counter automatically triggers a final ejection alert at the 5th foul.
Are the FTEM framework and PISTE ranking integrated?
Tracked as label fields at the athlete profile in Paak (current FTEM level, current PISTE Talent Card). Automatic progression logic (Talent Card upgrade) remains manual today — native integration is on the roadmap.
Does Paak replace Basketplan?
No. Basketplan (ORCA Systems, Zurich) remains the Swiss Basketball federation tool for licences, championship registration, and official rankings. FIBA LiveStats remains the match sheet in NLA/NLB. Paak is complementary: multi-sport, CHF payments outside the licence (TWINT rolling out), sponsors, tactical club scoring, individual performance. Bridge with Basketplan: CSV import. No public API today — a technical partnership with ORCA Systems remains to be explored.
Why is Paak the clearest opportunity for Swiss basketball?
Paak audit 2026: no third-party club management tool is officially endorsed by Swiss Basketball for the ~185 clubs / ~15,000 licensed players. No Localclubs (which is Swiss Volley's partner), no Fairgate-style competitor, no incumbent. It's a rare opportunity: no historical partner to displace.
Is a medical certificate required?
No, not at Swiss Basketball federation level. Paak respects this difference: requiresMedicalCert is false for Switzerland. An individual club can locally require a certificate; Paak then allows it to be added as a club qualification.
Your Swiss Basketball club, connected in 30 seconds.
5v5 FIBA scoring, auto-ejection at 5 fouls, positions, FTEM/PISTE, Swiss Basketball licences — it's all ready. CHF + TWINT rolling out.
