Swiss Basketball applies the FIBA rule set unchanged. During the match, one tap records a 2-point, 3-point or free-throw basket — attributed to the shooter, and the team score updates on its own. Switzerland has no direct equivalent to the French law of 8 March 2024. Like any Swiss sports club in contact with minors, your basketball club is invited to apply the Swiss Olympic recommendation of the Sonderprivatauszug (special criminal-record extract) for every regular coach, within the joint programme with the FOSPO "No sexual abuse in sport".

Does Paak handle the FIBA Swiss Basketball format?
Yes. 5v5, 4 quarters of 10 minutes, values 2/3/1 (FIBA applied unchanged by Swiss Basketball). The U10 to U20 + Senior categories attach automatically to the season.
Is the automatic ejection at 5 fouls triggered?
Yes. Each personal foul is timestamped and attributed to the player. The counter automatically triggers a final ejection alert at the 5th foul.
Are the FTEM framework and PISTE ranking integrated?
Tracked as label fields at the athlete profile in Paak (current FTEM level, current PISTE Talent Card). Automatic progression logic (Talent Card upgrade) remains manual today — native integration is on the roadmap.
Does Paak replace Basketplan?
No. Basketplan (ORCA Systems, Zurich) remains the Swiss Basketball federation tool for licences, championship registration, and official rankings. FIBA LiveStats remains the match sheet in NLA/NLB. Paak is complementary: multi-sport, club dues and payments in CHF (incl. TWINT), sponsors, tactical club scoring, individual performance. Bridge with Basketplan: CSV import. No public API today — the bridge is the CSV import.
Is there an official Swiss Basketball club-management tool?
No. Swiss Basketball endorses no third-party club-management tool: Basketplan handles licences and championships, FIBA LiveStats the NLA/NLB match sheet — and nothing covers the club's daily life. Paak fills exactly that space, alongside the federation tools rather than against them.
Do you provide training drills for coaches?
Yes, in the app. The session generator builds a minuted outline — warm-up, two situations, game, cool-down — from the age band, duration and theme you pick, drawing on a library of 48 basketball drills taken from published federation documents (J+S/OFSPO, Cahier pratique 18, the FIBA/WABC coaches' manual). Every drill carries its source and its age band, from mini-basket to seniors. Planning, editing and saving the session is free; printing the sheet and club-authored drills beyond 5 are in Paak One.
Is a medical certificate required?
No, not at Swiss Basketball federation level. Paak respects this difference: no medical certificate is required by default for Swiss clubs. An individual club can locally require a certificate; Paak then allows it to be added as a club qualification.
